Thumbs up

Hi, I wonder why adobe has not released a Flash Player for x64 OSes, the only version available @ the moment is the traditional x32 version.

So I'd like to know if there will be any consequences by using the firefox x64 version with flash x32 or should I install the firefox x32 version here even if I'm using a openSUSE x64!

Why Adobe hasn't released an x64-bit version is the source of much controversy in both the Windows and Linux world ;-) They swear it's not as simple as a recompile or port ;-) The answer is - only Adobe knows, and they aren't telling ;-)

In the meantime, both of your solutions are viable. Firefox 64-bit can use 32-bit flash through a wrapper, and 32-bit Firefox can also be installed. Both solutions will work ;-)
