Back on Opensuse after a year away, and I'm liking 10.3 a lot. However, after a weekend of tweaking and configuring, I noticed that System Information is reading my CPU speed incorrectly. My specs:
ASRock Socket 939 Dual VSTA mobo AMD FX55 @ 2.6 GHz 2GB Corsair VS RAM Nvidia 7600 GS (AGP) 400W Fortron Source PSU 80GB WD HDD NEC CD/DVD-RW Sysinfo is showing Processor (CPU): AMD Athlon 64 FX-55 Processor Speed: 1,200.00 MHz Just to be sure, I clocked it up to 2.8 in the BIOS, no change. If I refresh the screen, it will occasionally show up at 2.6, but then revert to 1.2. So far all I've done is disable powersave, to no effect. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
