Hi everybody, first post.
Ok, so here's the story: I'm trying to run the game Savage-SFE on 10.3 x86-64. It works ok, execpt that the sound pops. The solution is to run it using the aoss wrapper (but the wrapper needs to be 32 bit), Is there anyway for me to install both the 64-bit version and 32-bit version of the same package in YAST? Also, can i do the same for libs? Thanks.

Applications generally no, because they use the same name in the executable directory, like /usr/bin/foo
Libraries generally yes, because there are separate library directories, i.e. /usr/lib and /usr/lib64, but there may be special cases. In fact some of the 32-bit libraries are available as packages in the 64-bit package set. |
