Hello,
I need to install a server (HP xeon 64bits) and I need to decide which version of SUSE to install.
The problem is that some of my critical applications are 32 bits.
The performance of this applications will be better or worst on the 64 bits version?

No degradation because the CPU has those instructions. Only thing is you will use more memory because you cannot share those 32-bit libraries that have a 64-bit counterpart already loaded.
