I was just wondering, as quite a few of us got 64bit capable processor, mostly from AMD, and cause of lack of apps (precompiled rpms) in the repos for 9.2 and 9.3, do u think it will be much better with the release of 10.0?

And if so, who is planning to installing 64bit version and planning the return back to 64bit world.

I think, I will go with 64bit version, as I have had this processor for nearly a year, and wasn't able to live in 64bit world. Well, atleast I will for sure give it a try. I really hope that the developers are imphesising a lot in the development of 10.0 and giving extra time for the 10.0 to be "really" first 64bit ready platform/OS.

Just want to know the thoughts.

I really don't understand all the issues..I have no problems doing an rpmbuild --rebuild on any src rpm I want a 64 bit rpm of...the few times I've had issues I either contacted the author or found workarounds for the issue which was usually having to tell the configure script where the libraries were.
