Any error messages? > Sorry if I am posting in the wrong > area, but I need to know why it doesn't update. We're not picky, but "general-applications" would have been more appropriate :-) Uwe -- Novell Support Connection Volunteer SysOp Please don't send me support related e-mail unless I ask you to do so. |

It turns out I've 2.4.5 but the latest available, according to YAST, was 2.4.0. 2.4.0 is in the stable Gnome repository, http://download.opensuse.org/reposit...openSUSE_10.3/, whereas 2.4.5 is in the community repository, http://download.opensuse.org/reposit...openSUSE_10.3/, which also contains something called gimp.ymp which is 2.4 - 0 or 5 I know not. The latest version in the unstable repository is 2.4.0. Confused? You will be! I don't see 2.5 anywhere. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks., UK. E-mail: newsman, not newsboy. I wouldn't advise leaving the latter repository "enabled" after updating GIMP as it contains some rather flaky items. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks., UK. E-mail: newsman, not newsboy.
