Default support for lp0 line printer

I have a "Wep 800 DX" 80 column line printer. I checked with the linux
open printing database and there is no known support for this model of
printer on linux. I want to know, is it possible to emulate printing
through WINE? (not using the CUPS) but printing from WINE, using the
windows drivers.

Am using OpenSUSE 10.3 and have configured the printer on CUPS in linux
to use the Epson 9pin printer driver, but the printing quality is not at
all satisfactory. Is there any other way that I can get my line printer
working ?
