Default KDE3.5 Reolution goes back to 800X600 on laptop after reboot

Good afternoon,

I recently installed SUSE 10.3. Its been a long time since I have used
linux and things have changed.....

after booting and I enter the KDE desektop the screen resolution is
always 800X600. I have to use krandrtray to change it to the optimal
lcd screen resolution 1280X800. Here is a paste of my xorg.conf Its
pretty annyoing I have to change it every time I reboot or power up.
Thanks in advance for the help.

"/etc/X11/xorg.conf"

* varactor,

launch sax2 and set the display to LCD, 60Hz, and allow only the physical resolution of the display.
If you have an ATI/AMD or NVidia video chip, I recommend you install the proprietary drivers.
