Syncing Treo 680 with Kpilot

I"m running openSuse 10.3 and I'm trying to sync my Treo680 with Kpilot.
Kpilot actually detects the Treo device, but when I try to sync up,
the Treo reboots.

This used to work with OpenSuse 10.2 and Treo 650.

Any ideas?

same here. Try if you get any further when you press the Sync button first, THEN launch KPilot. I brought it as far that it would sync completely, THEN reboot.

The whole Palm sync is so broken, I decided to move to a WM6 device where I don't expect anything to work with Linux :-(
