> error. Any iodeas how to fix this? ![]() My understanding is KDE4 is currently broken as they are porting things to qt 4.4. Try updating it by booting into KDE 3. You should be able to select it at login time using the session settings at the lower left. Once inside KDE3 go into YaST>Software Management and set Filter to Package Groups, look for KDE under System>GUI. Go to Package in the toolbar and select All in this list> Update if newer version available. It may fix it, it may not. I have a test box that I do this on and sometimes KDE4 will not work for several days until it hits a version that actually works. It should stabilize again as the porting to qt4.4 matures. If you're doing this on your daily use machine be aware that 'updating if a newer version is available' can sometimes break things in KDE3 as well. If possible do any KDE4 experiments on an isolated virtual machine or other hardware. HTH. |
