all printer lost after a reboot

HAllo ,

I installed SuSE 10.1 and after that, a configured a printer well,
I printed some letters and some picture, so that it seemed to me,
everything was ok.
But - all setting get lost.
So I reinstalled the printer again, all printing task works fine - but -
after a reboot (or after afew day, ) some thing,

all settings and printer configurations 're lost

It is a network printer

could you help me, what do I have to do, that the network printer remains
in my config ?
