Hi all,
I have a LAN set up at home with BIND and DHCP running. As a result when I plug in a new node, the DHCP server updates BIND and all hosts can be resolved by name. My printer is an HP all in one, and the scanning/copying functions aren't supported so I HAVE to run windows on the server I connect to. When I open up Konquerer and visit "smb://bart", it opens up the samba shares on my windows machine that the printer is connected to. Whenever I try and add the printer via YaST and select Samba, it never resolves the host. I don't need to use a workgroup, just the hostname of "bart", is there any way to connect and view the shared printers? Thanks, Todd |
