Default SUSE 10 creating a new lpr printer

Hello,

I am experiencing a smal problem when installing a new printer connected
to a direct lpr queue.

I just finished to install my suse 10 distribution and tried to create a
new printer with YaST. I created the queue (direct printing to a network
printer) and added an HP Business Inkjet 1000 to the queue.

Yast created correctly the queue but didn't add the printer. I tried
several times and nothing happends...

Yast seems to "forget" to write the printer selection to the config file.

Does anyone have an idea how to workaround this problem ?

Thanks

Georges

My workaround was to install 9.3. Life's too short to muck about with
misbehaving software, whether from Micros***t or anyone else. Part of
the problem may be that, according to a report in Linux Format, some of
the SuSE development team have departed since Novell took over.
