Default How to Set Printing for Photos? Using HP 1220C

I'm trying to get a Suse 9.3 install to work with my H-P 1220C USB printer.

In Yast, I can see both printers I have installed, I can make test prints
from both of them.

Unfortunately, when I try to use DigiKam to print a photo, it appears to
send it to the queue and then nothing...it just sits there.

I'm using the suggested ppd printer drivers, too. Can someone steer me to a
help file that can walk me through this?

Bob.

Can you print from other KDE applications?

Uwe
