Hi everyone. I'm having some problems with my Epson C85 printer. The
problem is: since I installed OpenSuse 10.0, I was googling about how to configure the C85 printer model. Finally, I found a website (http://www.avasys.jp/english/linux_e/dl_ink.html) in which I was able to download the driver. After following all the steps to configure my printer, even so I got some error when I tried to print. My real problem is that sometimes it works, and sometimes it didn't when I send the print command in any kind of application. About the print resolution, I have no complaints. It's all about the intermitent functional of my printer. The connection is USB. I'm using CUPS. Any help would be very apreciated. Regards, Alexandre. |

Seems to be a bug in setup. If you go to Yast>hardware>printers you will find setup/edit screens. I found it left the field for port i/o address blank. If you find out what it is and fill in the figure, it will work. It is a number like 0378-037a Henry Law |
