Default Lexmark Linux Printer/AIO Driver Developer's Kit

Hi,

I intend to buy a printer and during my search I found the "Lexmark Linux
Printer/AIO Driver Developer's Kit"
(http://www.lexmark.com/US/products/i...nux/index.html). Did anyone try
it? Is it possible to develop drivers with reasonable effort, which fully
support the printer?

Christian

Lexmarks are the last printers to buy and not before you
try scribe and scroll.

So are Canon Printers with BrightQ(tm) Unix & Linux Drivers
http://canon.codehost.com/ better? Do they only work with

Hi,
I found a driver for Dell a920 which is a Lexmark z600 and installed it
like it said to do but I still can't configure my printer. I'll try this
kit and get back with you.
