Right now, I'm running SUSE 10.0 x86_64. But my problem seems to be
universal within any linux distro I've tried. Printing in both XP & linux is perfect, with one exception. Anything (including test pages) printed in linux seems to be offset about 1/8-1/4 inch to the left. I haven't measured the exact amount, but it's visible. Is there a way to universally set the print settings without changing the printer settings, so that I don't have to reset them when I do those rare forays into XP & don't have to manually set margins for each indicvidual linux program? :-) Bill K |
