Scenario:
- local server ( SUSE 10.2), retrieving pop3-mail from ISP per fetchmail - local workstation (SUSE 10.2), running KMail Question: How to setup both machines, so that user at workstation is able to retrieve mail from his account on server (/var/spool/mail/login_name)? Any suggestions are appreciated! |

Thanks, that got things working as intended.
After some unsatisfactory attempts with qpopper, i choose cyrus-imapd as a service and configured the clients incoming mailbox as type 'disconnected IMAP' Now, a query of the local servers mail-directory does no more result in dialling the ISP, as it has been the case with qpopper/POP3. |
