Default mail distribution

Scenario:
- local server ( SUSE 10.2), retrieving pop3-mail from ISP per fetchmail
- local workstation (SUSE 10.2), running KMail
Question:
How to setup both machines, so that user at workstation is able to
retrieve mail from his account on server (/var/spool/mail/login_name)?
Any suggestions are appreciated!

Enable a POP3 and/or IMAP service on the server, then configure the client
to refer to the server as its incoming mail server.

Thanks, that got things working as intended.
After some unsatisfactory attempts with qpopper, i choose cyrus-imapd as a
service and configured the clients incoming mailbox as type 'disconnected
IMAP'
Now, a query of the local servers mail-directory does no more result in
dialling the ISP, as it has been the case with qpopper/POP3.
