Cable Modem Bigpond as my IP

Hi to all To Whom It May Concern

I am relatively new to Linux.

So here goes I have a cable modem and my Internet Provider is Bigpond
(Telstra)

I have just installed Open SUSE 10.2

I am at a loss here I don't know what to do?

Suse doesn't have Bpalogin and me having a cable modem with Bigpond as my IP
can't access the internet to download it, I am writing this on a Billy's
Gates PC

I have a live cd with freespire and that has bpalogin in the system and I
don't have a problem logging on to the internet with that O/S

I have also installed freespire and the O/S works well Bpalogin works
wonderfully I think they call it
los-bigpond-dialer_0.0.2.1-0.0.0.50.linspire0.1.tar

I don't know if you guys will understand me, but I would like to use Suse
10.2

But the internet doesn't work with a cable modem with Bigpond as your IP

I would appreciate some positive feedback
