Default how do i connect to my router?

I have a linksys WMP11 v4 wireless card and well there is no driver made
by linksys to work with linux. I used a program that takes windows drivers
and creates a linux driver. It says my card is fully installed. Now i
just need to know how to set it up to connect to my router. Does anyone
know how i do this? I tried YAST2 but it says my card isn't configured and
if i click edit then it overwrites the other driver i previously created
using that program. Does anyone know how to set up wireless cards once
they are installed?

thanks, maaaark

just so you know, just because the kernel detects the card doesn't mean
that you actually have the proper drivers to operate the card.
somewhere on suseforums.net is a list of all natively supported wifi
chipsets. if it's not supported directly, then you will need to contact
linksys and ask for a proper linux driver, they should have one. if
not, you can always use ndiswrapper which will use the windows drivers
for your card on a linux system. i infact had to use this for a long
while until my chipset was supported on linux. and ndiswrapper worked
like a charm.

suseforums.net has tutorials for all of this.
