Hello,
the windows-firewall is disabled. the routers are configured to forward netbios traffic on port 139. I am possible to mount the windows shares with smbmount. But the smbclient doesn´t find the windows 5.1 workgroup. How can I access the workgroup? regards, Dirk Lehmann |

If you are going across routers, then you /really/ should set up a WINS server. B -- http://www.mailtrap.org.uk/ |

I don´t think that this will solve my problem woth finding the smb-workgroup. But it seems that NetBIOS Traffic is blocked between the both computers. Dirk Lehmann |
