Default seems that microsoft is up to an old trick..

humm it seems microsoft is up to an old trick.. it seems they are rehashing
an an old ploy they did to netscape users... it looks as if they are
stripping messages content from kmailer emails.. all you recieve is the
header no content.. also it seems that their hotmail servers are "losing"
kmail emails too.

I see several people I communticate with windows. no long recieve my
content of my emails ( yet I can send the same emails to my self via varing
accounts and they display fine. also hotmail is losing the kmail emails ..
being several hour since I sent to my hotmail accounts still have not
recieved , yet from windows machine it recieve instantly.. it all worked
fine last week... seems quite strange to me...

kmail version 1.8.2

Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me

Have you made sure your emails are being sent as plain text and not
HTML? I know some filters get all crazy on certain HTML tags.

well yes I tried several different form of emails html and plain text..
they all worked last week for hotmail accounts this week not.. and I always
work in plaintext anyways...

perhaps the recipients has their filter set to high
since their using SpamAssassin 3.1.1

I just find it curious that I can no longer send emails to my own hotmail
accounts.. and microsoft email clients is refusing to display the messages
and this all started to happen within the last 3-4 days I being using kmail
for over 2 years now...

by the way it was a ploy of microsoft to do that to netscape users before,
it's not really a conspiracy theory if it was done before it more of
probability..

Have you tried it with a different client sending to hotmail or maybe
doing just a very basic command-line sendmail email? It may be an issue
with your SMTP server being blacklisted by hotmail rather than a
client-specific issue.

Got a source on this? Sounds like interesting reading.

as for hotmail I tried differing clients still no go.. hotmail last worked
monday of this week... my smtp server blacklisted I doubt it but
possible... because it does not explain why it works in windows which uses
the same smtp.. and same connection to the internet..

I got it to work with microsoft clients to work now.. something in how
their clients are setup with the combination of software.. it only allows
html emails and forsome reason now it only works if an arabic language
package is installed or at least requests it.. but it still curious that
everything worked last week

I think it mentions it in this doc..
http://www.kmfms.com/whatsbad.html

but I know there is a more detail example. I will see if I can find it..
