I purchased SUSE 9.2 some time back and have been using it on
my laptop at home with modem connectivity. I am now trying to enable LAN connectivity using SUSE but am unable to get connectivity. I have a valid hostname and IP adress (and all other network info). Can someone point me in the right direction on how to debug this, does SUSE 9.2 home version not support LAN (no drivers) ? Appreciate any help, thanks. |

Can you post the output of: ifconfig and route please, also have you entered you DNS server IP`s? And can we have a bit more info on what lan chipset and what your LAN comprises of, like if you are just connecting direct to an eth modem/router or joining and existing LAN. We need a bit more info to come to an answer. Thanks -- Mark Twixt hill and high water N. Wales, UK Novell Support Forums SysOp |
