I'm running a home network (learning linux). So far I've got a server
running suse 9.3, have cups / samba running. With my windows xp machine I'm able to print and access files on the server. However with my Sony Vaio laptop. Running suse 10. I can't get access to the server. It never shows when I try to browse the network. I am able to get to the internet with no problem and can see the windows xp machine with the laptop. But can't find the server. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance. |

And that you log in with that username and password on the Vaio? Vahis -- No dual or multi booting, every OS runs simultaneously. This isn't a big problem yet. I'm still able to pull files from the server. The bigest problem is with the laptop running suse 10 I can't even get to the printer. |
