I have just installed Suse 10.0 on a desktop PC (AMD 3000+, ASUS MB) and
cannot connect to internet at all. I've set up network cards as per Windows/Mandriva2005 and nothing works pinging any address shows 100% loss pinging an address (eg www.google.com) hangs eth0 (LAN) and eth1 (internet) both initialise ok when booting up. Assuming its the firewall not letting anything through, Ive turned OFF the firewall - no change - still nothing works. How do I get ethernet to work on Suse 10? John Lovely |
