I am using Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG, but on my suse linux, it does not
find the interface automatically. So, I downloaded ieee80211-1.1.9, ipw2200-1.0.10, and the firmaware of ipw2200-fw-2.4. I installed ieee 802.11 and ipw 2200 driver well, and untar ipw2200-fw-2.4.tgz and copy all contents in the directory to /lib/firmware/. When I push EDIT button using YaST-Network Devices-Network Card of Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG, it keep saying that it needs ipw-firmware package. I am sure all files to /lib/firmware/. What do you think what I am doing wrong? |

Hi, Just guess that the firmware should be provided as rpm package, so that YaST knows it is installed. -- Regards, Rajko M. |
