Does Suse 10.0 support the Uli chipset? Ubuntu and Fedora don't and I get
make errors compiling the Uli Tulip add-ons and my DVD and USB HDD won't mount becaue of the Uli chipset. |

There are drivers for the uli/tulip chipset in the kernel sata_uli, have you tried booting with it included in the boot? You should find them in: /lib64/32/modules/2.6.13-15.7-default/kernel/drivers/scsi Go to Yast>System>/etc/sysconfig Editor>System>Kernel>MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT and add sata_uli to the line. see if that helps on next boot.
