I am running suse 10. I was wondering way smb browse is so slow.
No firewall on the client. When I use nautils or konqueror and use "smb://ipaddress or hostname" the browsningis very slow at first. But when I are contected the file browse is fats. It is just when connect that this is slow. It can take up to 4 minutes to get connected to the machine. I am connecting to Active Directory machine. The suse machine is not configured with samba client.. |
