Hello,
I just installed SUSE 10.0 from DVD, applied the latest set of online updates, and tried to open a web page using konqueror and https. Result: nothing happens and .xsession-errors contains the lines kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: /usr/lib64/libcrypto.so.0.9.7: undefined symbol: PKCS7_content_free kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: /usr/lib64/libcrypto.so.0.9.7: undefined symbol: OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: /usr/lib64/libcrypto.so.0.9.7: undefined symbol: OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms_conf kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: /usr/lib64/libcrypto.so.0.9.7: undefined symbol: OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms_noconf .... looks like the kio slave fails to start due to messed up libraries. I have installed openssl, openssl-devel, openssl-32, openssl-32-devel, all in version 0.9.7g-2.2, kdebase3 3.4.2-27.2 and kdelibs3 3.4.2-24. The system architecture is x86_64. Any ideas which libraries (or which versions of the above) I should install to make this work? Thanks for your help, Philipp. |

Any ideas which libraries (or which versions of the > above) I should install to make this work? .... the problem was solved by removing .kde/share/config/cryptodefaults and having KDE generate a new one.
