Default When using ath0 and eth0. How to set eth0 as default.

SUSE 10 on laptop. IBM R50 P.
I have both the wirelss and the usual nic activated.
When booting up I alwayse get the wireless card as default. I want the
eth0 as the default activated nic not ath0.
Where can I change this ?

I yast you can set the wireless to manual start. Just look at the advanced
options and set start to manual...

Hi Roger,
have you tried profiles
YaST --> System --> Profile Manager
I never used it so can't give any practical advice, but it can be usefull
for laptops.

The profiles are probably most usable for laptops.
One profile for home, the other for company, third for remote access when
one is on the go, etc.

Have a fun Roger.
