Hi,
I am having trouble getting an Intel 536 Internal Modem working in Suse 10.0. It comes up in YasT as /dev/536 but I don't know what serial port it is assigned to. I have assigned it to /dev/ttyS3 but I don't know if that is the right one. If I do a lspci it comes up. When I try to dial up using Dial In it comes back using ppp comes back with an error saying it can't connect to the modem. Minicom starts and then hangs. wvdial says the device is busy or unavailable. I saw another post for this modem but the driver is for Suse 9.3 so I imagine that is bundled with Suse 10 so there is probably no point in downloading that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. /john |
