Hi,
I have a prob withe the NPT-Client inteegratet in SUSE 10.0. I'm running SUSE inside a virtuel maschine (vmware) which supports to pause the linux session. But after resuming the session the vm keeps the time where it was frozen. I have the NTP-Client running, but it doesn't try to fetch the actuall time from the selected timeserver. Now I'd like to set an intervall, like 5 min, to force the client to get the new time. Thanks for any suitable help (e.g. rebooting the vm is not what I am thinking of ;-) ). Greetings Christian |

Most likely you will find your answer there. I think you have to add a minpol argument to the server definition(s) in the .conf file. -- Freek |
