Hi you all good people!

Just a shot in the all mighty internet. Does anybody know anything about
SAN technology and linux, preferably SuSE Linux, ver 9.2 and ver 10.0?

There is iSCSI support (driver, client side) in SuSE. I have not found any
iSCSI server support in Linux. However in my view you don't need that. Just
buy an iSCSI server with all the control that comes with such a device.

I am sure drivers for FiberChannel cards in Linux and any SuSE are also
available.

The "client" is actually called "initiator", and the "server" is called
"target". Search for "iscsi target"
(http://sourceforge.net/search/?exact...s=iscsi+target) and let us know
if they worked for you.
