I'm trying to access my Suse 9.3 box from another box on my network using
putty. With ssh. I get the login prompt, but when I put in the password I get access denied. Any ideas? I have the firewall turned off. I wish I didn't have to go thru all this ****. I was happy running suse 8.2 until my box got hacked from someone from this ip: 81.196.68.8 .... Now I'm in a world of pain where nothing works .... I may have to ditch this 9.3 and try something that works out of the box. I had another problem where I run a free dns (dhis.org). When I type make to make the executable I get a bunch of errors I've never seen before. Quite painful. |

I'd start a new thread for this problem. Uwe -- Novell Support Connection Volunteer SysOp Please don't send me support related e-mail unless I ask you to do so. |
