Default SuSEfirewall 2 and squid

Im wondering if anybody has got a setup with broadband and a few networked
pcs, with some ports open etc with susefirewall2 and squid. I have been
able to get susefirewall 2 working with my home network with masqurade and
have been able to open a few ports etc. But when i try and use squid i lose
my open ports and i dont know how to open them in squid.

if any one has susefirewall 2 and squid working together could you please
send me your log files so i can have a look at them? or does any one know
of any documentation i can read on how to get susefirewall 2 to work with
squid and how to allow some ports etc?

cheers and thanks

I have mentioned combination squid/firewall set and it works fine.
However, I beleive that you can't set up masquerading since you don't have
static IP assigned by the ISP.

I have fixed IP in my case.
