It not a problem to set up the file and print sharing. basically you set up the same way as in windows.. just goto control centre then to internet a network and set it up through there.. for internet sharing it not to hard either. just use a proxy server.. found on the suse cd's but I always like webwasher from seimen's. it acts as a proxy server but also stripes out all the advertisement and stuff.. make surfing just more enjoyable.. and it much more easier to set up then some of the other proxy servers > hi i have two pcs with suse linux 9.3 > > one has two network cards in it, one connected to the internet. > > the other card i want to connect directly via ethernet lead to the other > pc. > > all i want to do is set up a simple file sharing, printer and internet > sharing. > > i've played with all the network settings and messed around with different > things but i don't understand it at all and am getting knowhere. can > someone please guide me through. it's so easy to acheive in windows xp but > i don't want to use that! thanks. |
