Scrollbar drawing artefacts with Firefox

Firefox and thunderbird are displaying annoying drawing artefacts, no
matter what combination of theme, window style, etc that I use.

The right hand shadow on the scrollbar thumb is left behind when I drag
or hold down one of the arrow buttons. When the drag or arrow button is
released, the shadow line is redrawn correctly. As far as I can tell,
this is happening only with the Mozilla products.

Is anyone else seeing this? Does anyone know of a workaround?

Peter,

I see it in Thunderbird only, and only with XGL enabled. Since it goes away as soon as I click into the tile with the artefacts, I never cared much about it.
So is it even with kwin, or XGL/Compiz?
