Default KDE Virtual Desktop Behaviour

Hey,

I'm seeing a strange problem in KDE and was wondering if someone has come
across it and can offer some insight.

What's happening is I have numerous virtual desktops setup, occassionally
while working in Desktop X KDE will automatically switch me to Desktop Y.

Now I've gotten the behaviour pinpointed down to where I think it's due to
one of the websites I visit, essentially everytime KDE switches me back to
another desktop it's ALWAYS Desktop Y which happens to have FIrefox and
Thunderbird open. It just happens that Firefox has a webmail page open
which is constantly refreshing and has activity.

Any comments would be appreciated.

While in Firefox application go to the title bar, right-mouse click,
select Advanced->Special Application settings then under the workaround
tab check Focus Stealing prevention and force it.

Hey,

Thanks for the reply.. that option is already enabled on Firefox, must be
a default setting on SLED 10?

In the last drop down menu however it's set to None, I'll try setting that
to High and see if it helps.
