Default Unable to change translucency color.

Background Options.
Colors set to single color.
Colors shown are black and green.
The green shown is unchangeable which makes a little sense since
you're only supposed to be defining single color. However, Flipping over
to Style/Effects and the translucency color is set to the unchageable green.
When translucency is then enabled my menus are green, which I do not want.
Anyone know which option is controlling this secondary green color I cannot
seem to change it anywhere...may need to hack a config file, Baghira has
translucency settings but they do not seem to work, nor do many of the
color changing widgets. I get the feeling I'm watching a movie...Clash of
the Widgets.

KDE 3.4 on SuSE 10 btw.
