Floppy disc will not mount

Hi! I installed a floppy disc today and when I try to mount it I get
this error message,"Method "Mount" with signature "ssas" on interface
"org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" doesn't exist" When I go to My
system-storage media on menu bar the floppy shows up. I was able to
format the disc from here so I think the drive is good. Does anyone have
a solution for this. I am using Suse 10.1 and the KDE 3.5 desktop.
