i was trying to install a l2tp package to connect to the internet on suse 10.
i could connect to cables lan , and i downloaded the l2tp.rpm file i was supposed to run rpm -i <the file> but i couldent due to dependecies conflict and the reason was that the etc/service is needed. obviously i am rookie in linux. and i couldnt find this file on the net to put it in the /etc/ folder . can any one tell me how can i get the file and how i install this package . |

That file is provided by the netcfg RPM, and can be found almost anywhere on the internet. The l2tp package you downloaded, is it designed for SuSE 10?
