I installed linux using a 19" LCD monitor. I have a 15" crt at home but
when I boot all the monitor displays is "Out of scan range". How do I adjust the screen resolution to match my home monitor? Tried booting to failsafe and running sax2 but got same message and could not see gui. |

Try launching sax from runlevel 3 with: sax2 -l -r or sax2 --vesa 0:640x480@60 ( amended post due to my terrible typing and putting the wrong values in the above line, sorry ) Just to get it up then configure your monitor with the correct settings.
