msn messenger support in linux or mac with webcam support

here we go finally webcam support via multiple platforms.. it always bugged
me that I could not webcam to my realtive in other countries 0 i always had
to run a partion of windows just so they could chat with webcans) finally
an app that supports it in linux.. just passing the info along so other
can take advantage of it..

kopete has webcam support but only netmeeting support to my understanding so
it might work too.. i never tried

and for your usb camera this will support a heck of alot of them

it really easy to install
basically install the kernel source, gcc gcc++ via yast

read the readme found in the spca5xx folder that you uncompressed

but basically it, (for those who are new to linux)
make clean
make
then make install

the restart the computer plug the webcam in and it should work if it
compatible with this module.. and if not there are plenty of cheapo webcams
that work with it I got a little $10 from dollar store worked perfectly
and surprisingly good quality picture..
