Login ??? Password ???

I just installed SUSE linux 10.0.
At the first start the system asks me for a login and a password.
I read in another forum, that I should try 'root' as login and leave the
password blank, but that doesn't work.
What is wrong???

Are you sure it isn't asking you to *create* a login and password? When
does this happen? Is SuSE completely installed now or are you still in
the process?

Did you get any errors during install about bad files ?
