Hi,
i'm using suse on my laptop, and almost everything is working fine. However, with kinternet, i have a little problem. When i want to connect with my wep-wireless accespoint, i have to make te connection manually. I don't have to fill in the wep key , but i do have to click on kinternet, scan connections, choose my connection from the list click connect, click ok and than close the kinternet dialog. When i disable wep (on my accespoint and in yast) i don't have to make the connection manually. So i guess, somewhere, i made a mistake in the configuaration, or i m missing something very obvious. As i stated before, this is not a big problem, once connected, i'm good for the rest of my session. It is just a little bit anoying. Anyone an idea what goes wrong? Jan |

jan@bockaert.org adjusted his/her tinfoil beanie to post:

Or use the pin command, the first time this is run it will ask for the install cd/dvd and copy the archives.gz which contains all the files and apps that are in all packages and can then search through the database afterwards you can just open a console and: pin kwifimanager Which will printout to the console all references and rpms that contain the needed app/file.
