Hi all, In Windows (yes, I'm a refugee) I used a little program called PerfectKeyboard that allowed me to create macros for often-typed bits of text across any application. I.e., if I typed ..kr it would replace it with Kind regards, regardless of where I was. Does such an app exist for Linux/KDE? I've been looking at lineakd and khotkeys, but they require hotkey combinations like Control+Shift+T, and I can never remember those hotkey combinations (blame it on WordPerfect 5.x :-) -- Met vriendelijke groet / Kind regards, Bert Plat / www.bertplat.nl .... sees the forest in spite of the trees... |
