Hi all, just finished my first install of SUSE9.3 and am semi-befuddled
with this new evironment. I've been messing with Kaudiocreator to rip some CDs to make a jukebox with poor results. I can rip them as root, but the files go to \root\ogg - I can't access that when I sign in as my normal username. When signed in as non-root, I get errors from kaudiocreator saying I can't access \dev\cdrom. I check and there is no \dev\cdrom, but there is a \dev\cd with "filters?" under Konqer. Help! I'd really like to make this system work, but it's VERY frustrating. |
