Default How to use Kphone with Yahoo Messenger?

Hi all,
Sorry for the cross post- it was up there on a different thread-if I had
to post it here- it must be preety urgent.

Since I am a practising doctor, I find it easy to connect to my patients
who use Skype. However, I miss on
those who are on Yahoo messenger- which allows PC to PC chat. A little dig
and I found K Phone. Skype works
wonderfully- however, I have no idea as to how to make the K Phone work
with other clients- for example
Google Talk or Yahoo Chat.

Google search didnt help at all- nor did the various Linux forums around.
Incase anyone could help me with the terminology of SIP.

Any help would be more than appreciated folks!

Thanks
