Default Palm LifeDrive

I'm thinking of getting a Palm LifeDrive, but they only mention Windows and
Mac compatability. Does anyone know whether I can synchronise it with my
Kontact data?

I'm having moderate success with kpilot over USB. Addresses, calendar and
todo seem to work fine. However, you must:

- use a current version from KDE 3.4.2
- turn off autostarting kpilot in HAL
- first press the hotsync button on the LifeDrive then start kpilot
- not have your LifeDrive attached to your computer when you start up
(it will crash your LifeDrive)

However, DriveMode works like a charm. In that mode it behaves more or less
like a huge 4G USB key.

Backing up your LifeDrive with pilot-xfer crashes when backing up Blazer.

So. Either hold off buying it untill problems are resolved or be prepared to
deal with some trouble.

Thanks. Think I'll wait a while, in that case.
