Hi Gunnar,

If you have already added that dir and then d/loaded more files to itwhat happens if you just go straight to Install&Remove?

Yast should automatically re-read that install dir and update the
contents into the list so that they can be installed ( at least that
is
what I think should happen

I was just about to answer myself (for the record) when I saw your
reply, so
I start by answering you:

What happens is absolutely nothing. Yast does not check the directory
to see
if files has been added or updated.

Now, to answer myself:

You can select the entry in the installation source list and pull down
the
Edit menu/button and choose Refresh.

Much better. Even better would be if it was possible to refresh a
source
while in "Install and remove software". That way you could download amissing dependency and make it available without having to back out of
all
the searching and selecting you may have done.
